The Amynta Group to Acquire Guardsman, Adds Furniture Protection to its Expanding Portfolio of Warranty and Service Contracts

NEW YORK – Sept. 21, 2018 – The Amynta Group, an industry leading group of warranty, managing general agent and specialty risk companies, today announced that it has acquired Guardsman US LLC, Guardsman Australia PTY Limited and Guardsman Industries Limited (collectively, “Guardsman”), a leading furniture care and protection business, with operations in the United StatesAustralia and the United Kingdom.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Guardsman is a former division of The Valspar Corporation, which was acquired by The Sherwin-Williams Company in 2017.
